Bringing together Hong Kong’s top teddy bear artists, the competition saw contestants vying for the Hong Kong Teddy Bear Awards based on originality, craftsmanship, and artistic talent. The works were of exceptional quality, making the competition incredibly intense. At the ceremony, alongside the announcement of the 9th Hong Kong Teddy Bear Awards 2013 winners, the highly anticipated results of the 'Most Favorite Online Teddy Bear' (voted by over a thousand people on Facebook) were unveiled.
E-Max specially invited Gloria Chan, Chairwoman of the Hong Kong Teddy Bear Association (HKTBA), to share the significance of using these awards to propel local artists onto the international stage. She also demonstrated how to create adorable 'Christmas Angel Baby Bears.' Simultaneously, veteran artists guided young contestants in making Christmas baby bears, beautifully illustrating the 'passing of the torch' in bear-making artistry—a truly heartwarming scene.

A 12-year-old girl has swept two consecutive awards with her innocent 'Young Princess' and 'Blue Princess' bears.
Her wins included the champion and runner-up titles in the Junior Category. Having won at such a young age, she shared that she plans to create more unique art bears with her mother and return to the competition next year.
The only male contestant won the Uniform Bear Award.
As the only male contestant, Leung Sir, a retired Correctional Services instructor, created two uniform-clad teddy bears named 'Bear Sir' and 'Reformed' to express his feelings toward his time in the Correctional Services Department.
